Recordings screen: Access and orientation

Access

Access via the Main Menu, under Data.  (Your options may differ from those shown in the image below.)

The Recordings screen is available to any user, for the organizations and groups the user has permission to see. Names may not be displayed for some users.

Organization and Group views

The main view shows a summary of recordings collected for each child in the selected organization or group, with options for filtering, sorting, searching, and exporting what's on screen.

  1. Use the context selector to show the organization or group of interest.
  2. Filter by child status (Enrolled, Completed, Dropped).
  3. Sort by any column, ascending or descending.
  4. Use the screen search box to filter on any string of characters.
  5. Use the display column selector to choose types of information to display.
  6. Use the export button to save the information on the screen to a file.
  7. Click on a child's name to see a list of all of the child's recordings.

Individual child view

Clicking on a name in the org/group view opens the recordings screen for that individual child.

The child view lists details for each recording the child has completed.

Use the column picker to customize which types of information are displayed.

Key columns for troubleshooting error recordings are:

  • Length (Hrs)
  • Error Code (hover for description)
  • Begin Hour
  • End Hour

If the recording is not long enough, doesn't contain enough child data, or began late in the day, you can speak with the family about what went wrong that day and how to get a better recording next time.
