System Search
The LENA Online system search lets you search your data portal for participants, devices, users, caregivers, caregiver texting numbers, and groups.
Access it from any screen by clicking the magnifying glass.
Search for participant
Starting at the highest available context, type any of the following into the system search bar:
- participant first/last name, any part (if you have permission to see names in the system)
- participant external reference ID
- participant LENA ID
The search returns matching participants regardless of status (enrolled, completed, dropped) and from both active and inactive groups.
The search results contain key information about the participant as well as quick links to actions. If you don't have "view names" permission, the results will just show ID.
Click the appropriate icon to:
- View/print individual report
- View/print Snapshot report
- View list of LENA Days in table format
- View list of Snapshots in table format
- Add a Snapshot
- View Reading Minutes in table format
- Add Reading Minutes
- View device assignments and assign/unassign a device
- Edit the child's information
Search for device
Starting at the highest available context, type any of the following into the system search bar:
- Device serial number - must omit any leading 0
The search returns any currently assigned device.
Click the icon to manage the assignment of this device.
Search for user (LENA administrator only)
Starting at the highest available context, type any of the following into the system search bar:
- user first/last name
- user email address
The search returns matching users regardless of status (active/inactive). Inactive users are in italics.
The search results contain the user ID as well as a quick link to edit the user.
Search for caregiver or caregiver phone number
Starting at the highest available context, type any of the following into the system search bar:
- caregiver first/last name, any part (if you have permission to see names)
- caregiver texting phone number, unformatted
The search returns matching caregivers regardless of participant status (enrolled, completed, dropped) and from both active and inactive groups.
The search results contain caregiver name, ID, and texting number, as well as a quick link to edit the caregiver information.
Search for group (LENA administrator only)
Starting at the highest available context, type any of the following into the system search bar:
- Group name (any part of the name)
- Group ID number
The search returns matching groups regardless of status (active/inactive).
The search results contain information about the group as well as quick links to actions.
Click the appropriate icon to:
- View device assignments and assign/unassign a device
- Edit the group information
